“According to the MET Gala 2023, BTS’ Jimin is reportedly ione of the celebrities whow ill grace the 2023 MET Gala. Jimin will join celebrities like Lady Gaga, Vanessa Hudgens, Rita Ora, Maude Apatow, Camila Morrone, Amber Valletta, Kim Petras, Ice spice, Idris Elba, Nicole Kidman, Lizzo among others. The Twitter account wrote in a Tweet that Jimin was among those confirmed to attend. The event will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Every year, the spring show at the Costume Institute serves as the inspiration for the Met Gala theme or, more specifically, the dress code. Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, the theme of this year’s show, pays tribute to the late German designer’s devotion to both straightforward, “serpentine,” and “satirical” lines in his creations for Chanel, Fendi, Chloé, Balmain, Patou, and his own brand from the 1950s to 2019. The Met Gala’s dress code is thus merely “in honor of Karl,” leaving room for interpretation on the part of attendees.
For years ARMYs have been editing BTS at the Met Gala event and now the dream or manifestation is actually becoming true. BTS will be the first memmber to ever attend the gala and fans are lookuing fowead to how Jimin’s look will be interpreted by his designers. Jimin is both the global ambassador for DIOR and Tiffany & Co.
