“Agust D‘s “Haegeum” debuts at #1 on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart. It’s his second #1 hit in a row as Agust D. Haegeum, is second single from “D-DAY” album and is comparable to D-2’s lead single “Daechwita” in that it features a traditional two-string South Korean fiddle called a haegeum. The song’s title, which plays on words to refer to both the instrument and the song’s particular definition of liberation “to advocate for freedom in a reality built on unspoken societal expectations and restrictions echoed in today’s online culture”
