“BTS RM’s album “Indigo” has surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify earning him the fastest album to achieve this milestone by a K-Soloist. The album achieved this milestone in only 109 days after its release. December 2, 2022 saw the release of the “Indigo” album. The rapper’s new album is his first extended body of work since Mono (2018) and serves as a record or archive of his late 20s. It has ten songs and features Erykah Badu, Anderson Paak, Tablo from Epik High, Kim Sa-wol, Paul Blanco, Mahalia, Colde, Youjeen from Cherry Filter, and Park Ji-yoon, among others. The ninth song on the album, “Wild Flower,” which Youjeen and I co-wrote, was also made available as the lead single and music video for the album.

The album’s highest point was at number two in South Korea; number three in Lithuania; number four in Japan; and number third in the United States. Around 700,000 copies of it have been sold domestically, and the Korea Music Content Association awarded it double platinum certification. With almost 100,000 units sold there, it is the highest-charting album by a Korean solo artist to ever appear on the Billboard 200.
