BTS’ Jimin is Reportedly Set To Debut His Solo Album in February This Year

“BTS have been focusing on their solo projects with j-hope kickikng off the release of his solo album, followed by Jin and then RM. Jimin of BTS is reportedly getting ready to make his solo debut! This is according to Korean Media. Jimin is allegedly preparing to release a solo album in February, according to dongA.com on January 16. In response to the report, a representative from BTS’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC stated briefly, “The [release] schedule will be revealed once it is finalized.” Stay tuned for more information!

With BTS, Jimin has released three solo songs: “Lie” in 2016, “Serendipity” in 2017, and “Filter” in 2020. All of these songs have achieved success on the Gaon Digital Chart in South Korea. He co-wrote and co-composed the digital music “Promise,” which served as his debut independent song and was released in 2018. He sang the song “With You” with Ha Sung-woon on the soundtrack for the 2022 TvN drama Our Blues.

He has recently released his first solo collaboration for a song, “VIBE” with Taeyang where he is credited as a composer. Songs in BTS he is credited for include, “Outro: Circle Room Cypher”, Jimin & Jungkook Non-album release “Christmas Day”, “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1 “Boyz with Fun”, Wings “Lie”, Non-album release “Promise”, Map of the Soul: 7 “Friends”, “In the Soop” soundtrack and BE album’s “Dis-ease”
