“BTS member V has surpassed 500 million Spotify streams across all credits. The artists who’s baritone vocals are legendary has achieved this feat with only 3 OST’s for K-Dramas, “Christmas Tree“, “Sweet Night“ produced, written and sung by V, and “It‘s Definitely You” which was an OST for the Korean Drama, “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth” (2016) soundtrack in which he also acted in, he sang the sang with fellow member Jin. Now fans cannot wait for his solo releases following their announcement that they will be focusing on their solo careers.

V has released three solo tracks under the band’s name: “Stigma” in 2016, “Singularity” in 2018, and “Inner Child” in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart. In 2019, V released his first independent song, the self-composed digital track “Scenery”. It broke SoundCloud records for reaching 100 million streams from 20 million in over fourteen days, the shortest time for the platform.
On December 25 2021, he released the Christmas-themed song “Snow Flower” featuring Peakboy. V owns two Guinness World Records for Fastest time to reach 1 million followers on Instagram and Fastest time to reach 10 million followers on Instagram in 2021. He is the most followed Korean male artist on the platform.
