“Busan is Jimin and Jung Kook’s home town and BTS will be holding a concert in the city to support the city’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo. According to Korean media reports, HYBE announced on the 7th that “BTS plans to hold a global concert in Busan in October to inform the world of their intention to host the World Expo in Busan.” As a result, the bid committee will officially appoint BTS as ambassadors for the 2030 Busan World Expo this month.

HYBE and the city of Busan signed a memorandum of understanding for the bidding of the 2030 Busan World Expo on June 24. At the MOU signing, CEO Park Ji Won with Bang Si Hyuk, the chairman of the board of directors at HYBE. As ambassadors for the 2030 Busan World Expo, BTS plans to participate in a wide variety of promotional activities
