“Left and Right” by Charlie Puth and BTS’ Jung Kook debuted at #1 on this week’s Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart. It becomes Jung Kook’s first number one hit on the chart while it’s Charlie Puth’s second number one hit. Left and Right was released on June 24, 2022, as the third single from Puth’s upcoming third studio album Charlie.
The “Left and Right” duet marks the second time the two artists have collaborated since their performance of “We Don’t Talk Anymore” at the Genie Music Awards in 2018. Jungkook’s love and appreciation for Charlie Puth’s music has been documented many times as far back as 2015. He first released a solo cover of Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore” in 2016, which caught the singer’s attention. In most American interviews Jung Kook always named one of his favorite singer was Charlie Puth.
