“BTS’ ” Proof” album which is an anthology album of a collection of the bands past songs, three new songs and demo versions of their older songs has given the Mega band their 6th #1 on Billboard 200. The album released on 10th June already broke first day records in it’s release. BTS’ anthology album debuted with a total of 314,000 equivalent album units, including 266,000 in album sales, 36,000 in streaming equivalent album units (52.84 million on-demand streams of the tracks) and 12,000 in track equivalent album units. “Proof” is the largest week debut sales in 2022 for a group album.
“Proof” now joins “Love Yourself 轉 Tear,” “LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘Answer’),” “Map of The Soul PERSONA,” “Map Of The Soul:7” and “BE” as the albums to top the Billboard 200 chart.
“Proof” is the highest sales week for an album on CD in the U.S. Surpassing Adele’s “30” album, which sold 378,000 CDs in its first week last year.
