“BTS’ j-hope is attending Lollapalooza and the biggest news is that he will he headlining the event! Lollapalooza is an annual four-day music festival held in Grant Park in Chicago. It originally started as a touring event in 1991 but several years later made Chicago the permanent location for the annual music fest festival. Music genres include but are not limited to alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and electronic dance music.
Lollapalooza has also featured visual arts, nonprofit organizations, and political organizations. The festival, held in Grant Park, hosts an estimated 400,000 people each July and sells out annually. Lollapalooza is one of the largest and most iconic music festivals in the world and one of the longest-running in the United States
Lollapalooza’s Instagram page announced the news writting,
“we are thrilled to announce j-hope of BTS will headline #Lolla 2022 on Sunday July 31st! His performance will make history, cementing him as the first South Korean artist to ever headline a main stage at a major US music festival!” Lollapalooza
The lineup for the 31st July that j-hope will be performing includes artists like James Addiction, The Kid Laroi, Maneskin, Beach Bunny, Goth Babe, India Shawn among many other great artists.
