“BTS’ main rapper and part of he producing team in BTS, SUGA has been proving time and again that he is a man who can deliver on the assignment and even superceed all expectations. As an artist he has written songs that are both thought provoking and soothing at the same time. He spits bars and speaks his mind with puzzles that the listener would need a keen ear and eye to decipher.

As a producer he is much sought after by both local and international artists because of his magical hands that always churn out masterpieces. Whether it be for BTS’ own tracks, his own solo projects or other artists’ work, SUGA releases those songs after mastering them and creating a sound that is both memorable and unique. His music is always filled with a message that is always right for that period of time.

In his “Proof on Inspiration” series for their upcoming album “Proof” SUGA explained why he chose the two songs, “Trivia: Seesaw” and “Cypher Pt 3 Killer feat. Supreme Boi” his thinking is that the two have different sounds making him open to expanding his ideas on music in general. He said,

“I picked two songs in completely contrasting styles. They’re “Trivia: Seesaw” which is relatively calm and “BTS’ Cypher Pt. 3 Killer (feat Supreme Boi) which is more powerful and full of energy. I wonder what sort of songs I can come up with ranging between these polar opposites. It’s fun and meaningful to come up with ideas for expanding my musical spectrum. I think that always challenging myself with no limits in the musical spectrum is who I am and who BTS is. I guess my music and BTS’ music that are the products of these thoughts and ideas are out proof” SUGA
