“Leader. A term that is used to describe a character, a person, a position and even a term used for respect. RM aka Kim Nam-joon is the larder of the most formidable group in the world. Besides there being two older members before him, SUGA and Jin, all the members have chosen and have always respected him as the leader. They have spoken highly of him and been grateful for his leadership leading them to where they are now.
With all the accolades that RM holds, both as a BTS member and as an individual, the one thing that he is known for is his speeches, speeches that mend haerts, make sadness disappear, get you to think and reflect and even sometimes change your mind about many things. Apart from his speeches, everytime he talks with ARMY through the VLives, with his members or on his own, his words always leave an impact.
Recently, RM went on Weverse and responded to fans who were asking his questions for advice or just a word of encouragement. A fan wrote a long letter to RM both in Korean and in English talking of how they had given up feeling the pressures of life but went on to thank RM for being a great leader and inspiration.
RM respondes simply with, “I will push you from the east of suffering, to the west of peace.” Just less than 15 words but they hold so much power. Anyone feeling down or suffering depression most often than not just want an encouraging word to make them feel like they are not alone and will come out of whatever challenge that they are going through.

Those words may be simple and very few, but they hold so much weight. Loneliness is one thing that affects many people and will mostly lead to a downhill trajectory and in some unfortunate instances even lead to suicide. An understanding heart and a listening ear is what someone craves the most when their emotions are dull or they are spiralling.
RM saying those words hold so much substance and promise of a better tomorrow even if things seems bleak. BTS members have spoke.n about their down sides and happy moments and have not been afraid to say that they are not okay but that tomorrow will be better. From their music to their words, BTS have always preaches about loving yourself first and always be willing to talk to someone whenever you have a hard time because they might be going through the same thing or may offer a perspective that makes the hurt less and hope more apparent.
