“BTS’ V revealed that he wanted to channel the actor Johnny Depp with his look for their day 2 of the Las Vegas concert. He appeared with a brown leather jacket, hair slicked back except for a single thread of hair dropping down his forehead and had a lollipop in his mouth, he nailed it. And then literally killed ARMY recreating a scenee from one of his movies.
He even recreated a scene from the movie “Cry baby” where Depp is pushing back his hair perfectly that sent fans into a frenzy. He said during his speech
“i tried to be johnny depp from the 60s- oh wait not the 60s but the johnny depp from a long time ago today! anyways, today is our 2nd day <of the concert>. i really missed you so much. honestly there’s just one thing i wanna say: i was going crazy missing you, i’m going crazy because i’m seeing you now, and i’m planning on going crazy when i go back home. i love you so much! thank you!” V
Johnny Depp is an American actor, producer, and musician. He is the recipient of various accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, in addition to nominations for three Academy Awards and two British Academy Film Awards. Depp made his debut in the horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street he has acted in 21 Jump Street (1987–1990), What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Benny and Joon, Dead Man, Donnie Brasco among other films. and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998).
In the 2000s, Depp became one of the most commercially successful film stars by playing ‘Captain Jack Sparrow’ in the swashbuckler film series Pirates of the Caribbean (2003–present). In 2012, Depp was one of the world’s biggest film stars, and was listed by the Guinness World Records as the world’s highest-paid actor, with earnings of US$75 million. During the 2010s, Depp began producing films through his company, Infinitum Nihil, and formed the rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry.
