“On 4^th December 2021 Billboard officially announced that V’s “Christmas Tree,” had debuted at No. 1 on its Digital Song Sales chart. The chart ranks the best-selling songs in the United States. “Christmas Tree” was released as part of “Our Beloved Summer,” a new South Korean drama by Choi Woo Shik. With this feat, V has now become the first Korean solo artist ever to debut at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart with the OST “Christmas Tree” becoming first Korean OST song ever to top the chart.

V joins SUGA as the only other Korean soloist to debut a song at #1 on the chart when SUGA’s collaboration with the late Juice WRLD, “Girl of My Dreams” took that position just last month. V debuted on the Hot 100 Chart at #79 with the song making it his first ever appearance on the chart with a solo song.
