BTS’ V Becomes First Korean Soloist to Debut A Song at #2 On UK Singles Sales & Download Chart’s Entire History

“BTS V’ new original soundtrack, “Christmas Tree” for the Korean drama series “Our Beloved Summer,” debuted at #2 on both the Official UK Singles Sales and Downloads Chart Top 100. The previous record was held by Agust D’s solo song ‘Daechwita’ from his 2020 mixtape D-2. V is currently the only Korean soloist with two songs in the Top 10 in both charts, as his previous OST ‘Sweet Night’ debuted at #10. “Christmas Tree” also broke Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart by trending on the list even before the song was released! And immediately the OST was released it occupied the top two spots on US iTunes chart an reached over 80 #1’s on the chart as well.
