“V (Kim Tae-hyung) has officially broken two new Guinness world records with his Instagram account just days after officially opening the account. On 6th December 2021, all the BTS members opened Instagram accounts which was received with a lot of excitement and disbelief as fans never imagined it as something ever happening, BTS’ own Instagram accounts! not in a millions years, but here we are. and as expected all their accounts instantly racked up millions of followers within minutes. V, BTS’ vocalist is once again proving his social media dominance as his account raked in 1 million followers in just 43 minutes becoming the account with the fastest time to reach 1 million followers on Instagram.

V later added another Guinness record milestone when in just 4 hours 52 minutes, he had garnered 10 million followers thereby adding fastest time to reach 10 million followers on Instagram as another record he now owns. He is currently the member with the highest number of followers with 25.7 million followers. All other BTS members also have over 20 million followers
