BTS Jimin and Jungkook are the masters of their own stages, but when they come together, MAGIC, FIREWORKS happen. They are both amazing dancers who have learnt their own body movements to know how far they can take their physical strength. Both Jimin and Jungkook are physically fit with Jungkook having taken up boxing while Jimin has a plethora of fighting skills form Kendo to Taekwondo, so physically they seem like there is nothing they cannot do.
Jimin’s background in contemporary dance makes his dancing skills more fluid and smooth to the point that when he dances it feels like it is one long movement without any break. Jungkook on the other hand learnt dance when he went to the US for a year to practice his dancing. He has not talked about the kind of dancing skills he acquired from his training abroad, but Jungkook is able to handle any dance type that he is given.
The moment that really cemented their perfect chemistry as dance partners was the MMA 2020 “Black Swan” intro performance that took their skills to a whole new level. Professional ballet dancers hailed their skills that were executed perfectly, the whole world took notice and applauded with a standing ovation in their minds and hearts.

As partners on stage while performing, Jimin and Jungkook know how to communicate without having to look at each other. They learn each other’s movements and know them by heart, so there is never a misstep when they hit the stage. Their bodies tell an unsung story that sometimes you do not even need to hear the music to follow along as they dance. They are one body, one mind, one soul, literally like watching one-person dance.
Both Jimin and Jungkook engage the audience through their facial expressions and dance moves that hit every note that they are performing. They dance elegantly and artistically like the professionals that they are. With their skills Jimin and Jungkook cane dance several dance styles, from ballroom, disco, hip hop, ballet, tap dancing, salsa and even jazz. Most of these dance styles they have already done. To appreciate these two BTS dance masters, here are 10 times that JiKook (Jimin and Jungkook) proved that their chemistry on stage is undeniable and their art forms in dance are perfect.

1.BEST OF ME DANCE BREAK
Jimin and Jungkook’s dance break in their “Best Of Me” live performances is a literal optic treat that you have to witness to believe that two people can control each other’s movements so flawlessly like they are one being. 2. NO MORE DREAM
“No More Dream” was BTS’s first debut song back in 2013 and the music video was mind-blowing. It is almost hard to imagine that this was in 2013 and already BTS were already showing their hard hitting remarkable dances! The moment that defined this music video was Jimin and Jungkook’s dance break where Jungkook lifts Jimin and there is a ripple, effect of him hitting the other members as they fall. This part need trust, that Jungkook will lift Jimin at the right time and hold onto him until the scene is done which takes team work and perfect planning

3. ‘ON’ Kinetic Manifesto Film : Come Prima
ON is a fast paced song that requires a lot of rigorous dancing and sharp movements that BTS themselves said that it was the hardest dance they have ever done. All of BTS’s dances always seem like the hardest ones to a general person so for them to say that “ON” was the hardest, then it must have been! Just before the dance break, Jimin jumps over Jungkook and they immediately start the dance break. With dancing there is never a perfect moment, things could go wrong so to see how easy Jungkook bends and then waits for Jimin to jump over him, shows the amount of trust that he has on his Hyung. Jumping over someone then immediately start dancing again is not easy whatsoever, so the fact that they execute that move every single time they perform, shows how much work they put into perfecting it and trusting in each other.

BTS’ Jungkook and Jimin did a dance cover of Park Jiyoon’s ‘Coming Of Age Ceremony.’ In this performance we get to see Jimin and Jungkook undoubtedly put in hours of practice each day in order to hone their dancing skills with attention to every detail. BTS love to have fun even during tehri dance practices and we get to see them do dance covers of various celebrities. Jimin and Jungkook performed the dance so flawlessly that you get to appreciate the hard work that they put in. They are perfectly synchronized and when they dance together it is like a romantic story being written, like you could just reach out and touch the intensity yet delicate movements that flow between them. A perfect combination of sultry yet innocent.

5. DYNAMITE
BTS “Dynamite” was just the perfect song for 2020. This was a perfect fun song that the boys could just let lose and have fun, with choreography, of course. “Dynamite” was made for Jimin and Jungkook as they showcase their friendship and closeness as they dance. During the last scene, we see Jimin jump onto Jungkook’s back and they laugh as they then continue to dance. In their reaction to the “Dynamite” music video Jimin said that him jumping onto Jungkook was not part of the choreography, he just came up with it on the spot. This speaks volume to how open they are to each other that they would embrace a dance move without question. My favorite part is when they are dancing, singing and stripping their denim jackets off, they are perfectly in sync like they are one person.

9. WE ARE BULLET PROOF PT. 2 HAT TRICK
When it comes to dancing fast paced songs during performances, both Jimin and Jungkook has high energy that is electric! Since debut both of them know how to put on a performance that will leave audiences awed and love struck even. When the music video for “We are bullet proof pt. 2” was released the moment that had fans watching it on repeat was the hat trick moment. It was precise, fast and crazy good. Fans were puzzled, theories made, videos of trying to hack the trick were made, and still some have not yet figured it out now in 2021! Even if you figure it out, it is still mesmerizing as that hat trick needs some astronomous physics calculations to explain it. Again, their trust in each other comes in as each person knows exactly at which moment to be and anticipate the hat being flinged towards Jungkook. Perfect team work.
