HAPPY BIRTHDAY Bang Si-hyuk “Hitman” Bang, BTS CEO

“Happy Birthday to the man that put together, the greatest team in the world that has done nothing but love, heal, bless, educated, taught and led the way to loving ourselves. It is no surprise that BTS have always brought forth a lot of creativity, art and poetry in music since Bang Si-hyuk himself is a lyricist, composer, producer, and record executive. As much as he is the founder and co-CEO of Big Hit Entertainment, he has always allowed his artists to find their style, love and lyrics in their own music. Giving such kind of creativity to artists makes them have that much more passion to do what they love.

He continues to write, compose and produce, and most recently co-wrote six songs in BTS’ critically acclaimed album Wings, released in October 2016. The success of Wings garnered him the Best Producer Award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and the Songwriter Award at the Melon Music Awards that year. In June 2018, he was named one of Variety’s International Music Leaders due to BTS’ achievements. Other amazing Awards he has received over the years include:
